Why are people racist? Video

The way he speaks was so elegant and polite. The story he told about a woman shouting from her apartment is cruel. I will never understand how people think that it is okay to yell a slue towards someone. She felt so entitled to it that she had to yell it out. And to use the phrase "you people", tells me everything I need to know about her. He explained racism so well. I am glad he spoke about his personal experiences about racism because people need to realize it still exists. People just tend to embed it more into society so it is "normalized." Everyone deserves to be treated the same no matter what race we are. Race plays a huge part in our identity because it is the first thing people notice about us. They either judge us because of it or accept us as who we are.
