Curiosity Videos and Article

Curiosity is such a wonderful thing in my opinion. People are able to explore parts of the world in a whole new perspective. All while exploring who they are at the same time. It opens up the mind more. I found another video about curiosity. He talk about how his curiosity took over when he wanted to talk to his professor. What he got out of it is that the conversation he had with him had a greater value than spending it In the classroom. He now talks to new people that have different interests. He says that his mind really opened up and he grew physically and mentally.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPdNs93yyMw

When it comes to time, I believe that what we do now, is really important to our future as a generation. That it's good that we are curious about things of the world. We should live in the present instead of worrying about the future. To live every moment to the fullest because time flies by fast.

Bertrand Russell's message to the future generations is still important to hear today and many years from now. Yes, people will say these we don't agree with but we have to tolerate one another. We must live amongst one another. I really like how he said we should look for facts, not just the thing we wish to see/believe.

The article, it talks about self identity. I think it's important to have an identity. But I agree it can be overwhelming to have that kind of pressure. Especially in group settings.

  1. Insightful posts, Andrea. And thank you for the link. There is a saying that nothing really exists but now. How we live now has so much to do with our minds, how we choose to think, what we choose to think about, and most importantly, how and how often we interact with one another. Socializing is as important as food to create a better world, I think.
